How to play

SXRATCH — decks

Scratch (trackpad): hold Ctrl and move one finger up/down — no click, no second finger. Hold right Ctrl (left hand scratches) → Deck A; hold left Ctrl (right hand scratches) → Deck B.
Slam crossfade: right Ctrl+Alt throws the fader fully to A; left Ctrl+Shift throws it fully to B (while you scratch that deck). Release to snap back.
Remap anything: the ⚙ button lets you rebind every key and trackpad gesture, invert the scratch, and tune sensitivity. Saved in your browser.
Crossfade (trackpad): two fingers left/right (no Ctrl needed).
Scratch (mouse / touch): press-drag left/right on a platter.
Waveforms are interactive: drag to scrub (you hear it), click to jump, Shift-click to drop a hot cue, double-click a cue to clear. ＋/－ zoom.
Hot cues: 1234 + ZXCV Deck A, 6789 + BNM, Deck B (tap to set/recall, Shift+ or double-click to clear).
Transport: Q/P play, W/O jump cue, E/I set cue. Each deck also has ● START (to start), ◀◀ REW / ▶▶ FF (hold to scan), and SYNC.
Shared centre toolbar: the A | B switch above the waveforms picks which deck LINK · DBL · Presets · zoom and the LOOP row control. It follows the deck you last touched.
Sampler & FX: the PADS + FX button opens 8 sample pads and each deck's BRAKE / SPIN + Beat FX. Map a loop to a pad with TO PAD.
Both decks & sync: Space plays/pauses both at once; T/Y beat-match A→B / B→A (or the SYNC / BOTH buttons).
Crossfade: center fader, or ← / → keys (↓ re-centers).
EQ / Volume / Tempo: drag the knobs & faders (each shows a scale). Double-click any of them to snap back to neutral (tempo → 0%, crossfader → centre).
Load: drop a file onto a deck, click “Load file”, or paste a URL.

PAD — studio

Tracks: synth (chords / bass / lead), drum kits, and audio. M mutes, S solos, ⏺ arms a track for recording; ＋ Add track lives under the headers.
Regions: drag to move, pull an edge to resize, double-click to edit notes in the piano roll. The ✏ tool draws new regions, ✂ splits at the click point, Del deletes the selection.
Record: arm an audio track and press ● — your mic or audio interface is captured in sync while the other tracks play, and the take lands as a waveform region. Arm a synth track to capture what you play on the keyboard instead.
Keyboard: the on-screen keys (and Q–P with digits as sharps) play the selected track live; − / ＋ shifts the octave.
Devices: the chain panel shapes the selected track — instrument or input pick, a 5-knob EQ and a reverb, plus pan, fader, mute/solo.
Loop: drag on the bar ruler to set the range, 🔁 toggles it; click the ruler to move the playhead.
Undo: Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y — every edit, delete and import.
Ship it: ⋯ File sends the mix to Deck A/B (region starts land on hot cues), downloads a WAV, or exports/imports the song as JSON.

Customize controls

Click a key button, then press the key you want. Esc cancels. Changes save automatically.
